The Ohio Task Force 1 Canine Handlers want to remember Bristol, who was lost during training through this fund to help pay for heart disease research in Dobermans.

Rayanne Chamberlain was training with her dog Bristol. They were tasked to find a person hiding among several hundred junk cars. It took Bristol about 10 minutes to make the find. Great work. Then, she seemed distressed. Shortly afterward she died in the arms of Rayanne's husband, Dave. It seems her heart failed.

In Dave's words, "She was so good at what she did. Took in stride everything thrown at her, helicopter's, boats, ladders, planks, buses, many motels and was always ready for more. Disaster search lost a tremendous asset. I don't understand how an animal that had such unlimited energy and purpose can have a heart that failed her. She will be missed."
