Dogs are heroes in so many ways whether as a search and rescue dog, therapy dog, agility champion or as the world's greatest companion. Now it's your turn to be a hero for the dogs you love. Support the AKC Canine Health Foundation by becoming a Hero for Health Research.
As a Hero for Health Research, you build a custom donation page, then invite family and friends to donte. This section of the Heros for Health Research pages are intended for those honoring an animal other than a dog or for groups, such as dog clubs, who want to solicite support from their members.

What are Heroes for Health Research Pages? Heroes for Health Research Personal Fundraising Pages are an opportunity for anyone with a connection to our mission - friends, supporters, volunteers, families, and others - to be a hero for our mission. Each page includes a personal story, photos, progress towards a personal fundraising goal, and a guest book with notes of encouragement from supporters.
Where do funds raised from these pages go? We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization all funds donated through personal pages go to support our work. Please read more about our mission and the research being funded by the AKC Canine Health Foundation.
Can my personal fundraising page be restricted to help a specific breed or disease? When a supporter visits your Hero page and decides to make a donation, he or she will have the option to restrict their donation to a specific breed or disease.
You cannot require that donations from your Hero page be restricted in anyway, however you may request that supporters restrict their donation to a breed or disease that is of particular importance to you.

Can I set up more than one page? No. Each supporter can set up one personal page.
